COVID-19 updates: We are excited to announce that the 2021 Writers' Institute will take place April 8-11, 2021. See the UW–Madison Smart Restart website for information on how the university will welcome students back to campus in fall 2020.
We are just nine weeks away from this year’s conference and I want to mention some resources for you.
First, please be sure you are listening to writer/speaker r.r. campbell’s podcast The Writescast Network. This podcast is chocked full of valuable information for every writer and especially for writers who are planning to attend this year’s conference. Here is a link to the podcast: https://writescast.net/
This is a podcast collective for writers, by writers, and, your humble conference director will be featured in an upcoming episode.
Next, I want to share another excellent Writers’ Institute Writing Community Blog with you. This one is entitled Facets of the Muse and is written by Julie Holmes, one of our writers and also a past Writers’ Institute speaker. Julie has been sharing her adventures with her muse for some time now. I am almost positive that once you read/learn more about her amusing muse you’ll want to read all of theses posts. And finally this week, be sure to review the Master Classes available at this year’s conference – they do not disappoint, especially the two newest Master Classes this year that address writing to save our Planet Earth https://uwwritersinstitute.wisc.edu/sessions/master-class-where-my-heart-oars-and-spirit-sings/and equity and representation in our writing https://uwwritersinstitute.wisc.edu/sessions/master-class/
